Man throwing puppy off roof of apartment building in India
Footage of a grinning yob throwing a puppy from the roof of a building has caused outrage online.
The video materialised on Facebook , with thousands sharing the footage in disgust.
Hundreds commented on the 34-second clip, which shows a man holding onto the puppy and smiling as he prepares to throw it from the roof.
The puppy is then tossed to the ground, with the cameraman filming its desperate struggle to get up and walk again.
Sounds of the dog crying out in pain can also be heard.
Animal activists and welfare workers have been made aware of the video, which is filmed in an unknown part of India.
Human Society International India have announced a 100,000 rupees reward for information which will lead to an arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.
