A stray puppy, 2-3 weeks old, was found on the streets of Kerr Serigne and taken to the surgery with it’s mother. The other 4 puppies of the litter had died already.
On examination of it’s body there are 100s of maggots found drilled into the skin, mainly in the paws. The worms were removed in fractions, the puppy was treated for it’s infections and got some s.c. fluids.
It passed away 12h after the procedure.
Spay and neuter! SAVE lives!!!
