Gardening With Rachel… and a naughty puppy (Day 27 of 30)

It was a beautiful evening so Rachel and I went out to the garden to weed the carrots, stake the yams, take out the old bean vines, plant green onions and check on the Missouri pipe corn. Then the puppy decided he was going to help… whether we liked it or not! Cromwell is a cute puppy but not really good at telling the difference between weeds and carrots. The seeds we saved from our bean vines are going to plant a big space – and the corncob pipe corn, despite us losing a lot of ears, is going to give us some seed after all.
