17 rescued mill dogs were transported to New York via minivan on Sunday, April 21, 2013. It took twelve hours. The dogs range in age from 6 months old to six years old, and they were all in various states of shock, fear, and even joy to be free.

This effort was spearheaded by Albany, NY’s Companion Animal Placement Program CAPP – http://www.capp-petplacement.org and The Healthy Pet Center in Delmar, NY – http://www.healthypetcenterny.com. Supporting rescues include Dog House Adoptions – http://doghouseadoptions.org, Homeward Bound – http://www.homewardbounddogrescue.com and Pack Ethic – http://packethic.com.
