Dogs often have some entertaining ways of letting us known what they want. Some of them will circle around in front of the door when they want to go outside. My own dog will sit in your lap and stare you in the face when he wants to play fetch. Surprisingly, no dog seems to have learned that it’s much easier just to tell people what they want with words.

Until that development comes, though, this little puppy has found an ingenious way of letting his owner know that he’s hungry. He just picks up his empty food bowl and brings it to wherever his owner is. Then he sets the bowl down and stares his owner in the face. How much more direct can a little guy be?
