I forgot that I had this video in my projects. I filmed this when Twix was 10 weeks old and had only been at my house for a day.
I do like to use a lure to get a behavior quickly, but it is extremely important to fade the lure after a few times. You do not want the dog to rely on the food in your hand in order for the dog to do the behavior. I also show the dog my empty hand after I click just to kind of show them that Woo Hoo you did it and I did not have food there. However, since I clicked it is important to give the dog his reward!!!
