I’m going to give you a few things that are very important that I have found out here GermanShepherdman.com number one when you get your new German Shepherd puppy normally it’s around 8 weeks old you start working with that baby at around 9 weeks old I gave him the first week to just acclimate to their new home new family you start working with the leash a little bit just put it on them in the house matter of fact it’s good if they’re in the house to have the leash on them all the time that’s another video for another day but you want to get the leash on them get them used to the leash around the house around the yard when your potty training them put the leash on them take them out put them down keep it on it you know they’re used to the least now they have to get shots at my veterinarian at 6, 9 and 12 weeks old you don’t want to take them out into the public until they’ve had all all three rounds of their vaccination shots okay very important but you’ve been getting them leash ready and they get their third series of shots at week 12 ish okay give them 2 or 3 more days and then you go to start the socialization process like this if you have a business like PetSmart or Petco nearby you then that’s what we do we live near Tallahassee Florida and we love PetSmart in Tallahassee so what we will do is we will take that baby on their first trip to PetSmart when it’s off hours like Tuesday night at 8 or or middle of the morning Wednesday morning or something when there’s not a lot going on first trip to the leash…………
