I remember a long time ago when I was a little boy, my mom was heading off to work and she told me to take the chicken out of the freezer so she could cook it when she got home. I told her yeah yeah okay got it and she left. I should’ve went straight to the freezer to take the chicken out but instead I sat down in front of the TV where my brother was playing on our brand new Super Nintendo. It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. We switched off playing Super Mario and before I knew it, it was dark outside. I jumped up and told myself there was something I was supposed to do. After 2 seconds, I gave up trying to remember and went back to playing Super Mario. I got to a boss level where we had to fight a big chicken looking character. At that moment, I knew I messed up. I ran to the freezer and as I opened the freezer door, the garage door was opening. It was my mom. I threw the chicken in the microwave and hit 99:99 minutes praying for a miracle. My mom walked into the kitchen and knew what I was trying to do. I had never seen this woman so mad in my 7 years of existence in my life. Her face turned red and she her hands got bigger. She smacked me so hard, the chicken jumped out of the microwave and ran away. I was smacked so hard, the Super Nintendo reset with no game data saved. My brother was pissed. I cried. My bro cried. The chicken somewhere in the world cried with me as well. I always remember to take the chicken out of the freezer now.
