Mix this formula in a large plastic mixing pitcher

* One carton (1 qt) or 1 can of MeyenBerg Goats milk

Make sure you are using EITHER evaporated milk OR whole goat’s milk. DO NOT use sweetened condensed milk! Goats Milk is more like the Bitches milk than Cow’s Milk. 3 oz- 6 oz sterilized water (distilled water OR boiled water that is then cooled).

*1/2 Cup of whole fat live culture yogurt plain or vanilla (avoid skim or fat free *WHOLE FAT ONLY!).

(Greek Gods has 14 Grams of fat)

* 1 TBS- 2 TBS of Karo Syrup or Corn Syrup (NOT HONEY!)…light or dark…doesn’t matter which. 2 TBS if the puppy (puppies) are constipated. *Start with 1 TBS and adjusted the formula if needed too much can cause diarrhea too little constipation because goats milk is binding in the intestines.

*3 oz of distilled water or clear pedalyte which helps if diarrhea occurs.

If constipation occurs add in 6 oz of distilled water till normal stools resume.

*Green color stool indicates the formula is to concentrated.

* Four raw egg yolk (no egg whites) adding 4 egg yolks will provide more protein when supplementing a nursing dam for extra calories or extremely tiny puppies.

* One dropper of infant vitamins, Nutra-drops or liquid puppy vitamin drops important to help with absorption.

Nutra-Drops must be order online not available in store. Through Revival Animal, Foster & Smith or another pet supply company etc.

*Mix in a blender or using a mixer, or stir vigorously and then shake in a air tight container each time.

*Will keep in the fridge up to 7 days.

*This is a thick formula, so adjust holes in nipples if necessary. It can be tube fed to puppies. It has 18 calories per 2 cc which should be EXCELLENT for good weight gain on your babies. A different brand of yogurt won’t provide the same amount of calories as the Greek Gods brand I usually buy either the Honey Vanilla, Honey or plain. (This does not contain actual honey only honey powder substitute so it’s completely safe to give to puppies.

If constipation occurs which sometimes happens when hand rearing a puppy or litter add several drops (depending on how severe the constipation) add some Cat Hair Ball Remedy (Cat Lax) comes in a liquid form It’s a natural, gentle laxative and safer than castor oil or mineral oil and adjust the formula by adding in more distilled water or clear pedialyte till normal stools resume again.
