Abused, underfed puppy found on side of Sacramento County road

videos

Sacramento County officials are asking for the public’s help finding the person or people who badly beat up a puppy found on the side of a road. Someone brought in the 2-month-old puppy, now named Thomas, on Tuesday to the Bradshaw Animal Shelter after finding him on Peck Drive and Harley Way, in a neighborhood near Florin Road and Stockton Boulevard, according to Janna Haynes with Bradshaw Animal Shelter. Thomas had noticeable injuries to his head, and X-rays showed clear blunt force trauma, which officials believe is a result of animal cruelty.
