The Chinese company 90Fun is launching a smart suitcase designed to follow you automatically so that your hands are free. Named 90 Fun Puppy 1 that I interpret that it will follow like a puppy, the suitcase can follow it constantly or it can be invoked through a remote control. The company worked with Segway, known for producing the infamous two-wheeled scooter, to add a “gravity adaptation system” to the 20-inch suitcase, which helps the bag balance as it rolls.

The Puppy 1 is not the first suitcase that claims to have an autonomous driving mode: the Cowarobot R1 suitcase also has built-in sensors to avoid falling or crashing into something.

The 90 Fun Puppy 1 will be on sale later in 2018, although it is not known how much it costs. I am known for absent-minded luggage, so one that follows me is something I welcome. The product will be exhibited at CES 2018, so stay tuned while we try to track it on the exhibition floor and try to take it home with us.
