For 15 years and 4 months, my precious Abby has been my shadow, my constant companion, my best friend, my earth angel. And Saturday August 20, 2016 we had to say good-bye.
She had a wonderful, long, happy life filled with more love and pampering than you can imagine. And, in return, she gave us an abundance of love and joy. Nothing has, or ever will, love me as fiercely or deeply as this sweet girl. Her heart knew no boundaries.
She passed away very peacefully under the shade of the olive tree in our front garden, just after 1:15 p.m. Saturday afternoon. I kept kissing her and telling her how much I love her until she took her final breath. Our hearts are shattered.
